STORY

Day One:
A group of four genius students met up to discuss a matter of life or death. It was the Hneidi FSE 2011. Echoes of rumours were emerging from the hallow rooms of an old castle that is called Kennedy about his project for centuries. There was massive chaos and distortion on that day. Many hearts were shattered and torn apart
for friends
in deciding groups.  The students (Hossein Mehdi, Akbal Gill, Majd Haidar, and Draskovic Kristijan) had faith in each other, and gathered up in the cafeteria of KCI to discuss this serious matter. Everyone had a dazzled pal look on their face for they did not know what to expect. The unknown worry about University marks was taunting there conscious. But once the first person spoke out, everyone felt comfortable. Suddenly, brilliant ideas were splashed on the table. Hossein had an idea of dropping a homemade parachute from different height intervals and seeing how the diameter of the fabric from the parachute spread on the ground. Akbal’s idea was to drop a ball from different height intervals into a container filled with water to see how much water would be displaced. Majd’s idea was to drop a ball from different height intervals into a flat pile of sand, and measure the height of the indented sand pile. Kristijan’s idea was to drop a ball from different height intervals into a bucket of water and see how many ripples were created.  After all those ideas were presented, it was time for some action. So each person agreed to go home and try out their ideas and see if they were linear and compare them the next week.

Week 2
After the students went home and each one tried their experiment, they held a second meeting to discuss their discoveries and share their thoughts with each other.  Unfortunately not all of the ideas work for some were non-linear and others could not be done with ease except for one. It was Akbal’s idea, to drop a ball from different height intervals into a water container and measure how much water was displaced after each drop. They all agreed on his idea, and set a date to do the official experiment and to finalize it.

 Beginning of week 3:
A day before the experiment, the group went out and shopped for the apparatus of the experiment. Some materials were bought and some were borrowed. Then the group gathered up in Mr. Alfano’s room to conduct the experiment. Each person did their part, and the experiment begun. The geniuses were so happy with their results, for they realized it would be a power law graph. After the experiment was done they left home with their heads held high.

 Middle of week 3:
The boys were tired at this point from the night before working on the experiment. The ugly part of the project has just awakened them, which is the written part. So the group held another meeting in the KCI cafeteria. Each person got assigned with lab portion to do at home. From there, they were to assemble and merge all the parts together, and have one final copy.

End of week 3:
The group held another meeting at the University of Windsor CAW centre. Here the group members put all their brain and effort into making the best lab report they can produce. After five long hours, finally a masterpiece was on their hands...
